Love this app know exactly what the weather is going to be. Very accurate.

Great app. Love to know exactly when its going to rain.

My kids play on four sports teams, and the question is always whether or not we should cancel the game at the first sign of rain. This app is a savior. You can open it up and know exactly what the weather is going to do. If it says "rain stopping in 15 minutes" sure enough, the rain always stops. Its not perfectly accurate with the future forecast, but it is spot-on the day of. I cant live without it for hour to hour planning purposes!

I loved this app when I first got it but now its never accurate. The current temp is always right but future temps are always 5-15 degrees off. The other day it said it would be 80 and going on the local news stations app they predicted 68. The news station was correct. It was an awesome app when it was correct

I have this app on my iPhone, Apple Watch and iPad. I have it set to send me the daily weather report on my iPad every morning. It works about 50% of the time. I would love to see this bug fixed. I would also like to be able to set the barometric pressure to inch mercury instead of millibars on my watch. I like the apps simplicity but a little more behind the scenes (in the settings section) customizations would be awesome. Other than that, that app is truly an "Essential," as Apple says.

This is an app that everyone should have. Very well designed and always works. The Apple Watch companion app is also done very well.

Been using Dark Sky to dodge rain here in downtown Portland for two years. The app is consistently VERY accurate-- to the minute-- and we use it several time a day to find gaps in the rain so we can get the dogs out, empty, and back inside. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture -- unless theyre wet-- this app changed my life! (Seriously-- anytime I dont have to wash the dogs feet and dry them thoroughly, I get to work 5 minutes earlier and without dog hair all over my work clothes.) several of us at work use the app to time our walk to the PSU food carts too. Its awesome. Shocked at the reviews posted recently and wonder if those people live in areas where there arent many users submitting real-time feedback to the app. I can drive half a mile here and the weather is different-- I love this app.

More accurate and easier to Use than many other weather apps, it remains a go to throughout the day. No advertisements and further shake downs after initial purchase. Cant recommend it more! If you are on the fence, the same company offers a more fun version of this app called Carrot Weather. Its a fun spin on typical weather apps and is the same price. Its a comparable alternative. Good luck with whatever you choose!

Like any weather forecast, there can be inconsistencies, but how many allow you to help them correct it? Dark Sky permits you report weather in your area with preset conditions and help adjust the forecast. I am left wanting for a "mist" condition -- its not really "drizzle."

I rarely find myself enamored with apps that offer a "new concept" that is drastically different than the norm, but dark sky is an exception to the rule! Im not a weather geek,but Ive had more than a few weather apps, most of which I spent the majority of my time navigating in to find only what I needed; I commute to work every day and just need to know how to dress for temperature and precipitation. Ironically, I love this app because I use it the least: the info I need is clearly displayed with no need to waste time sifting through details I dont need. This has definitely been a time saver and an overall pleasure to use. Having no problems with opening or using the app, I can say it was money well spent!

The forecasting is good. Its a fun app to use. The search for cities function is abysmal and managing your cities is so bad it makes me not want to use the app. This is the 3rd time I have written this because if your nickname is already used it deletes what you wrote. Dont know if thats on apple or the app but really?

Seriously best, most accurate weather app, or source for that matter that I have ever encountered.

Its very good at predicting precipitation start and end at your precise location.

I live in Minnesota where in Winter we can get into true negative twenties and in the summer we can get above 100 (snd then theres the hail and the tornadoes) so getting outside can be all about grabbing that window of opportunity. This the perfect weather window of opportunity app. When will there be a gap in the rain so I can get my walk in? Should I wait a little while to take out the trash? Plus if it says clear and Im getting drizzle I can report it and improve accuracy for my neighbors. that has only happened once, though. in the months Ive used it this has been a real boon. The satellite crawl could be more user friendly, but I dont use it so I dont care. : )

Really THE best weather app. So easy to find any detail I need and fast to find basic info.

Tried several. This one is best for ease of use and accuracy.
